Capt Dada Olaniyi Labinjo

Capt Dada Olaniyi Labinjo MSS FSS psc(+) MRIN, LLB BL is the Managing Partner of Marina Law Chambers. He graduated from the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna and was commissioned into the Nigerian Navy as a Sub-Lieutenant on 1st July 1978. He rose to the rank of Captain before his retirement in 2001.

During his service days, he held various appointments at different times ashore and afloat including the Navigator Officer NNS ARADU, Commanding Officer NNS YOLA, NNS OFIOM, NNS AMBE and Executive Officer NNS UMALOKUN & NNS OLOKUN. He obtained his LLB (Hons) from Lagos State University, Ojo in 2004. He was admitted to the Nigerian Law School in 2005 where he obtained his BL in 2006 and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria the same year. Capt Labinjo brings his wealth of experience in the maritime industry to the Firm.

Bola Labinjo

Mrs. Bola Adunni Labinjo, is the Executive Director, Finance and Administration of Marina Law Chambers. She is also the Managing Director of Global Shipping Activities Bureau Ltd and sits on several boards including ALDAWOOD Shipping Lines Ltd, AL-DAWOOD Air Ltd, LABLAND & Sea Services Ltd, International Naval Survey Bureau (INSB) a classification society, GFGSGHS Shipping Ltd, Transunion Credit Reporting Agency and Marina Law Chambers.

In 1981, she obtained her first degree in Commerce (Bsc) from the Zagazik University, Benha, Cairo in Egypt. She also bagged a Master's degree in Public Administration from the prestigious University of Lagos, Nigeria.
